Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career by playing support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had an appearance as a support character on FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara, a young Moira and in the second season she played Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced a number of characters in the animated comedy series of Family Guy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old when her mother and she moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in acting, singing, and photography around the age of 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue a career in acting.
