Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985, in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres such as the period dramas through thrillers to action-packed films. Johansson is the daughter of an architect and producer, was born within New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. By the time she was seven, her interest in acting had grown. Her first audition was for commercials. To enhance her acting skills, she joined classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan and then she attended the Professional Children's School. In the year she turned eight old, she starred with Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in Off-Broadway productions. When she was nine, she debuted in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson later appeared as a character in Just Cause (1995) but her debut came in Manny & Lo (1996) an upcoming film that follows orphaned sisters who run away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity due to an accident garnered her critical acclaim. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded even more recognition. Renee Felice Smith entered the world of entertainment when she was very young. When she was a kid she fell in love with acting. Smith landed the first of many acting roles at the tender age of six. She appeared in an Dannon commercial on TV. In the same way as many young actresses she began her professional career in the theatre. While working on different productions in the USA she also had her stage debut with Wildflower. She was educated at Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
